About Me
I am a 2026 B.Tech graduate with hands-on experience gained through a 6-month Apache Web Server internship. My practical experience is focused on Apache HTTP Server, Linux administration, virtual hosting, website deployment, SSL/HTTPS, Basic Authentication, networking fundamentals and troubleshooting. I am looking to begin my career in Linux System Administration or Web Server Administration.
What I Have Worked With
Hands-on Experience
- Installed and configured Apache HTTP Server on RHEL and AlmaLinux systems.
- Configured IP-based and port-based Virtual Hosts to host multiple websites.
- Deployed websites and managed Apache configuration files.
- Configured SSL/HTTPS and Basic Authentication using htpasswd for secure web access.
- Monitored Apache services and logs to troubleshoot website and server issues.
- Assisted with routine Linux server administration and web server maintenance.
How I Approach Administration Work
My internship gave me practical exposure to configuring services, deploying websites, monitoring services and using logs while troubleshooting server and website issues. I am continuing to build my Linux administration skills with a focus on understanding how servers and services work in real environments.
